Ok before I go pick these up.. the Silverado mirrors for 2002-2004 are the same as our NBS mirrors aren’t they..?

Interesting. Why does the retrofit kit for those of us that don't have them only come with one, I wonder?
I think the Dorman one is a different design, same amount of area. The one I retrofitted in my 08 Silverado bends to the side as it slides up. These are in 2 parts so you don’t have to bend them, just slide 1 up and push it back then slide the second one up. I’ll bet the regular 2piece filters fit the Dorman retrofits but Dorman made theirs different so you are led to believe you have to buy their filters, which is ingenious marketing imo.

Installed my new belt today, 20190817_095330.jpg 20190817_103333.jpg 20190817_103355.jpg and also messed with the new idler. I used a small flat washer instead of the stock large concave washer. Redipped my grill20190817_122711.jpg
Since it was starting to look crappy with the old dip on it. Fixed my amp wire, since I kept having issues with it. I hope my belt stays out this time.
Found this-- 20190814_084611.jpg Lol. Who can resist a monkey giving the finger and holding his nuts??

Not sure if I posted on here. But for awhile I’ve been debating about selling my Yukon. I already found a stock 5.3 to swap in the Yukon. Also have a pretty sweet project lined up to take its place and put my 6.0 in it. Anyways. Both are clean787033aa16a6b4c113882be53d84c194.jpg
