Sorry to hear that Brent, that'll mess up your drag coefficient now for sure! No cameras? Did it mess up the actual metal bumper underneath or just the cover?

no He took off after i mention having a dash camera(wanted to leave and let it be) no damage to the suv that time

I was just a bit startled that was it, he and the passengers "tried claiming injuries on the spot"
but foiled their plan on the spot when I claimed I had a rear dash camera...

they quickly backed off and wanted to leave(as they claimed to have stuff to "do") since they knew they were liable for the accident. (he also mis claimed the spot where it was backed into ) I told him his lie was on camera, because at some point he changed his story (that is when i mention the dash camera i did not have)..

Camping out in their car

That was not the first time a few days later another person tried doing the same exact thing to me again ( another car another person ) I spotted the and was watching them like a hawk...

this person was camping out in the spot right behind me..

so it does appear that there is some organized insurance fraud going on in that parking lot... the primary target is large SUVs such as the Tahoe and suburban. class SUV so that goes for the yukon and esky..as well.

I mentioned on yelp to watch out for people camping out in their car

actually lieing about the dash cam I did not have saved my ass on that one..

I guess they decided not to target my SUV anymore but I did see a guy camping out in the parking lot

but sometimes it could be legit someone waiting for another inside the store but it seems pretty odd to want to wait in a 110 to 140F car when you can go inside at 71F...

Pretty sure waiting in car for someone backing out/in is a thing. I backed into a space and had a Mom dart into the space with a hair to spare. Nicely told her I was there and backing into other space next to hers, so don’t rush anywhere for a minute.

Crazy lady got out of car and said our truck hit hers. 15+ local kids mobbed our the XL and chanted “you hit her car”. WTF?! Of course she demands insurance and DL. Called the PoPo and they rolled code 3 due to the mob and my kids hiding in the truck scared shitless.

Sheriff arrived, kids dispersed like roaches and the Mom went pale. She couldn’t tell cops where damage occurred and spun a story the kids told her they saw her car jounce from impact. A Dude stepped up and told the deputy I had been set up and explained the entire event. Sheriff was pissed they were called but the nutty Mom got a documented case of attempted insurance fraud on her record (with pics, witnesses and rolling footage).
