I'm sure it's been asked before. Thus apologies in advance as am not clear on the process. I hear lots fo good things about BB so interested and looking to see what my options are.

What do I need to do to make this happen? I know and understand BB can email the file what will I need to load?

The Escalade has catback exhaust installed. Just picked up the headers with no cats, CAI. Nothing too crazy but definitely wanting to wake it up a bit.

The Crew Cab has headers, CAI, LSX 102 intake. i picked up a NW 102 TB that requires a tune soon after install. The CC was tuned locally but is in need of help.

Appreciate some feedback and ideas. Thanks one and all in advance.

You'll need an AutoCal so you can datalog and send to BB. They'll adjust the tune accordingly and email the updated tune to you. You use the AutoCal to get the tune from your PCM to PC and from your PC to PCM. Drive to get more datalogs, send to BB, etc.

We would be happy to help with tuning, if you would like you can call 877-809-4070 and we can go over everything.

The AutoCal is a handheld device, yours to keep, it will allow us to see your vehicle data and provide your custom tune files via email. We update our tunes for free as long as you own the vehicle, so if you add mods later you can recieve your updates via email, you can tune multiple vehicles (with the purchase of additional tune and license), as well as read and clear codes, and back to factory settings with the AutoCal. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Hmm. Thanks for the response(s). I have no problem with any of that except..... I am basically home a few days out of the month while on extended work assignment. Obtaining data from driving around and sending it back and forth sounds like it will take quite a bit of time as the data gets sent and I get back to upload etc.

I'll contact BB in the next few days to discuss details and see what options we'll have. For starters (and granted without coordinating / discussing), this means the header install may have to be placed on hold or better planned out.

W/r to the crew cab, I have a 102 mm NW TB ready to install but cant because I need the tune.

BB, I'll be in touch soon. Thanks Iamdub & BB.

To record data from your truck onto the AutoCal takes less than 25 minutes of driving time. You will have to include 2+ full throttle accelerations while you are recording data from your truck, as part of the overall recording procedure, so finding the 'right' road to record the data is key. Net, net, the data recording procedure takes only a small amount of time, and can be performed in one recording session.

The turnaround time between your sending out your recorded data file to BB, and your receipt of your new tune files (for me, there was one tune file for the ECM and one tune file for the TCM), will depend upon the level of business activity at BB at the time. My own personal experience has been approximately one week turnaround time, but BB can give you more information on current lead times for turnaround.

The process to transfer your new tune files to your truck, once loaded onto the AutoCal, takes less than 10 minutes.

When you speak to BB, they will give you any additional information that you need. I am a HUGE supporter of BB and their performance tunes.

Good luck!!

Well said Joseph! We appreciate that!

Right now the turn around time once we get the data log and stock files and add someone to the to do list is about 5 business days.
