I remember when the Hyundai's first came out, they were the most gutless car's, you could almost push start one faster than jamming the pedal to the floor, they would just kind of mosey up to speed, once it was going 35-40 they had a little more oomph but not much, they have came a long way since then.

We had an '86 Excel and it was a fun little car to drive stick with, not fast at all but good commuter. However, my mother drove a little too far right on the highway and the lip of the road tripped the car and it rolled a couple of times and she was ejected. My little brother stayed inside and the doors popped open and dug into the dirt, keeping the car from rolling on top of my mother. She spent several weeks in the hospital. About twenty-five years later, my brother did the same thing with an Excursion and several people died in that one.

Anyway, congrats Stephen on the comfy car and set your sights on a classic, a K5 Blazer or Jimmy or do you want another 2 Door Tahoe with a turbo diesel maybe next time?
