Looney tunes

Going crazy trying to decipher, read, and download instructions trying to find a "Tuner" that will turn off my AFM and TPMS.

So much conflicting data.

Anybody know of a tuner that is capable of doing both?

pretty sure you wont get any legal method of turning off tpms, some guys just put them in a tube and fill it with air and stick it somewhere in the truck out of sight, afm is easily done

Can't just "turn off" TPMS because it's a governmental safety system. Things can be done that somehow disable it and they seem to be more of a lucky glitch that was stumbled upon (@Rocket Man)

If no tuners are near you up there in Alaska, you can buy a Range module to disable the AFM or get a mail order tune to have it turned off with or without performance tuning. The cheapest option for mail order AFM-only disabling is http://lt1swap.com/afm_delete.htm

Im aware of the legality and even Rocket Man's lucky find. Ive read just about all the threads on this forum retaining to TPMS. (I didnt want to be another redundant poster)

Im aware of the PVC tube trick but it has problems and isn't always successful due to thee differences in sensors. (some sleep, some dont)

The Tech2 is also limited because it cant turn the system off but can only set psi values.

I stumbled across a few tuners in other forums that seem to be capable of a AMF and TPMS shut off but the information is conflicting and is dependent on vehicle type.

One such tuner was the Superchips 2545 Flashcal. It says it can disable AMF and has TPMS *options..
I saw this TPMS waiver link pop up when trying to search if it were capable of TPMS delete.. https://tpmsoptions.superchips.com/
Leads me to think it may be possible..

I also discovered this video. He seemed to be able to turn off the TPMS with it..

Call or email these guys... I would be willing to bet they can probably turn off your TPMS.

Blackbear cannot reprogram BCMs.

Thanks kbuskill. Thats definitely a tempting option, and a great price!
I was really hoping to avoid any down time though. I figured someone on here somewhere must have stumbled on a tuner unit that does both the AFM and TPMS...any added tuning or tire size correction ect would be icing on the cake...

I missed the part were they said they could provide a loaner..
I also wonder if a future mechanic could simply erase everything I had them program because he saw it was different from stock entries? That would make me angry lol..

That is correct. We can't do anything with the BCM.

We can help with tuning and disabling the AFM within the tune, but unfortunately we can't do anything with the TPMS.
