I am in the process of headlight/ corner light upgrades on The Beast. New Anzo u-bars which have clear lenses so I bought some corner lights with flat black housings and clear lenses to match. Undecided on whether I will bake anything open or not. Might open the headlights and remove the reflectors/ paint the chrome part, or open them all up and PTM in Pewter. Also undecided on doing a retrofit on the headlights. I checked with a maker of the Denali retrofit brackets and he said they will work on these Anzo's so if I do that it will be easy. I need to check nighttime light output to see if it's even neededIMG_9305.JPG .

Ok I take back what I said about my wheel weights rubbing.

The rubbing noise I had was from the rear, echoing to the front.

And of all the things, rubbing caused by the ebrake not being adjusted out FAR enough. How's that for odd? They're now adjusted to within a cunthair and begins to grab before first ratchet on the pedal. And are dead silent

The ebrake adjustment on these is one of the worst things to do. You need them out so far you almost can’t get the rotor back on. Plus they can’t be adjusted with it on. Stupid.

I'm finally going to get to dechrome my front end. Tagged a truck in front of me last week. We were rolling away from a traffic light when a car flew out of a gas station driveway into his lane and he did an overcompensating panic stop dead in front of me. I was towing a 2-ton trailer and could get it reigned-in fast enough. Just tagged him at about 2 mph but creased the front bumper (sorry about the BBP tag, Justin). Its hard to see, but the whole bumper is pushed back 1/2" besides the crease. I'm purchasing a black ready-to-paint replacement. May do the grille at the same time.IMG_5727.JPG

Got a couple of these busted. Anybody know where to get just that little piece and not the whole adjuster?
