Dont buy a dremel, use a sheetrock knife with a new blade. Carefully scoring around the lines until you break through... unless you want a dremel. I had multiple choices when i cut mine open (dremel, cutoff wheel, etc) but the sheetrock knife worked for me.
Man im from dallas and i lived in houston for 10 years. Yea its 2 different kinds. But its still hot. My friends always say its dry heat.
That's what I used (a dewalt one), only managed to stab myself a couple times, some kind of light helps to see the lines
