hey forum,

Just purchased a 05 Yukon SLT 4WD yesterday in pretty great shape. I really want the GMC 22837233 wheels but I can’t find anything saying they won’t work except for GM saying they won’t fit my Yukon. Is that true.

What should I know that would tell me why they would or wouldn’t fit?

Are there other considerations for 4WD I should know?

First off welcome!! Post some pics of the ride when you can! We love pics here!! :D
Yup as he said above they will fit! Same exact bolt pattern. @NeverSatisfied has these on his crew cab Sierra Denali. Check out his build. Pretty sick truck and these wheels look good on this gen rig. I myself have 2015 Yukon 20s on my 2006 Yukon XL Denali. As to your 4WD question, pick the right tire and you will have nothing to worry about. A Good aggressive tread pattern tire and you will get most places with 4WD. These rigs are incredibly capable trucks. I live in a ski town in the mountains and there are a ton of of this generation 4WD GM SUVs rolling around here.

The fronts i painted with POR-15 caliper paint and they only had one shade of red. It got pretty good reviews so i went with it and it has held up well. The rears are raybestos powder coated calipers from rock auto. I had to replace the rear calipers and decided to do them red but my fronts were only a few years old so i painted them.
