@Christian_Zamora very little space on the GX470 and battery and they fit. IIRC not much better between core support and housing on tahoes.

Well, I crashed and burned today. I live in Costa Rica so it's not like I can have something overnighted from Amazon.... but I went looking for some LED headlight replacements and ended up buying some No sight 9005 and H11 bulbs but I'm disappointed with them. Firstly, the fit in the housing is great BUT the tail end of the heatsink if both are up against the truck but I can bolt the headlight up and just have to adjust the beams up. They're 6500K and I feel the temperature is not gonna fare well in the dense fog. I liked the factory color, just wanted more lumens but was unable to find here in the country.

Would love suggestions on better fitting bulbs and thoughts on some 5000k or 5500K bulbs...

Drove it to breakfast this morning. Noticed my dash lights not coming on. Mess with the light dial and dic, nothing. Mileage and gear selection not on either. Drives like normal. No check engine light or codes. Any ideas?

You heard it here first: If you combine Newton's third law of motion with Murphy's law, you get my law of repair:

Manly's law of repair: "For everything you repair, you get an equal and opposite new thing to repair."

Yesterday I replaced my steering wheel. Now this happened:

Dorman replacement on the way. But I gotta tear pretty far into the door. Sheesh.

Shouldn’t buy Dorman for anything buried. I learned that long ago. If it’s hard to get to, get OE or comparable. My experience.

My grandad that owned my tahoe before me had this issue too. Wound up needing a new cluster.

I hear ya. But some of their stuff is better than OE. You have to do a bit of research. They make a replacement plastic intake manifold for my old Expedition that was better than OE (when the original cracked). I saw this firsthand. I'm reading that the Dorman handles are a little thicker than OE inside. So I'm hoping it'll last longer. I'm also reading that the gasket is cheaper, so I plan to swap the OE one over. We'll see.

It's not very difficult- a 20 minute replacement. I just swapped all four of mine for color-keyed ones. I installed the two front ones in my buddy's Sierra. I still have my rear ones if you decide you don't like the Dorman one. The right side is the one I repaired with steel and epoxy (pics and description somewhere on this forum). You can easily swap the arm to use it on the right front.
