Plug and play implies you take the new one out of the box, disconnect the old one and plug in the new one and everything works. That's not the case in this situation so would not be plug and play. As said above, not hard to make work but is not plug and play.

My 16 had this mod, and it WAS plug and play. I removed the old module, installed the new. All good.
