Finally getting some stuff done. Found a friend of a friend who can work on trucks. Had him do my C notch last night. He can install my rear 4 link, watts link and bags. Hoping he can do that within a week or two.

for now... have to keep it conservative since it's a DD with 3 young kids. Once i finish bagging it and see how close it is to laying frame things may change...

Newest pic... figured I'd share. Front inner fenders rest on the tires when laid out, so I'll need to cut them up to go any lower. only sits about 1.5" lower aired out in the front than when it was static lowered.

I drop it off next week to install the KP 4 link, watts kit, and cantilever system

It’s not all that easy to install those. I replaced my fenders that were already tubbed and you have to cut out all the inner structure and then weld flat panels to the outside of those and then weld it all to your fenders. And be prepared, your fenders have now lost most of their strength due to the structure being removed so you gotta be careful. There’s pics in my Silvy build thread.

I'm very much aware! That's why the quotes on "only" and the emoji. Acquring the trailer fenders is absolutely the easiest part. I'm sure Nathan knows what's up.

I recall that project. Wasn't it that the guinea pig for your new welder?

Be ready to throat-punch anyone if they even LOOK like they're about to lean against your fender. A buddy with a bagged '95 Silverado fell victim once.
