Get that new connector? I was looking at the soldering on that wire and it doesn’t look great IMO. Looks like either the wire was contaminated or not enough heat was applied. I’d get a new connector and make sure to cut some wire off the end of the old stuff so it’s good and clean, solder it good and use heat shrink tubing so it doesn’t corrode. You don’t want that to bite you at a bad time like in the middle of winter.
Ya see??? RocktMan said..... SHRINK TUBING...... :boobs:

( Hopefully, your second time fix will be the charm )
I hit it with the test light and it shows hot--didn't before. I'm wondering if it's the injector now.

That damn connector again. Of course I broke the insulation on the new one.View attachment 223817
I'm hoping it'll last for awhile. Needless to say I'm pussed--as per usual.
Seems to be running ok. We'll see.
I was on a very public road, so I had to be careful.
You didn’t break the insulation, that’s where it ends. I can see the wire and the end of the connector it’s crimped to. If you’re careful you can stick your soldering iron down there and feed it a tiny bit of solder to reinforce it. Or get another connector, either way. It is probably fine as is though.

Thx. I'm hoping.
