Man, I have hydroboost on my express 2500--that's loaded with weight, and it stops amazingly quick. Excellent upgrade.

That’s awesome! Anything has to be better than what I have right now. Damn pedal is almost to the floor at times. Had a bit of a scare a couple weeks ago when I accelerated to get past some people (you know, new found power you didn’t have before), and tried to brake at 90 mph to a dead stop, wasn’t sure if I was gonna make it for a second!

Want to do this on my Yukon one of these days.

What year do you have?

The exact reason I ponied up for a Wilwood kit. If you’re gonna accelerate like a beast you need to stop like one too.

2003. I think it has some kind of vacuum booster for the brakes, but not hydroboost.

Haha can’t imagine what it would be like with both! Do you recall what part number you bought?

Looks like fronts were Tactical Extreme TX6R 16” Rotor Base PN 140-13876 and rears were Aerolite with 14.25” Rotor Base PN 140-9838. I bought them together as a kit along with the matching brake lines, you have to use Wilwoods lines.IMG_7256.JPG
