Okay, so I think I already know what this is but am hoping it's something else. Maybe you can help me get ideas for other things to check before I look into what I think it really is.

We have to wait in line to cross the boarder for like 2 hours. All the while the car idles. After about an hour of idling it starts to smoke. When its driven at city speeds and faster for 10 minutes or so the smoke goes away. It behaves normally afterwards.

The car only smokes when it's idled for long periods of time. Any ideas? I'm cringing but want to hear your ideas first...

Smoke is from exhaust. Yeah I a certain is valve seals too. If was a SBC it wouldnt be a big issue. However is a 2004 hyundai 3.5 L dual overhead cam motor. I cannot find Any info on the motor. Anybody know where I could find rebuild info for that motor?
