I plan on getting the Black Bear Autocal in the next month or two. Anything needed/recommended in advance? I haven't seen anything in particular, but figured I'd ask.

My truck has 69k miles on it and is stock with and will stay that way, aside from maybe a resonator delete. Long tubes are at least a year away.

I have my 6.2 tuned by blackbear, just have to tell them what you are looking for. They automatically do things to the engine and trans tune. The trans time in itself really makes the vehicle fun to drive. For mine, I requested that over 3/4 throttle the A/C compressor be deactivated. IMO it's easier on the compressor to not spin it up that fast, plus I have full horsepower if someone sneaks up on me and I need to ***** it down, haha. They can remove rev limiter, and can fix the speedometer for different tires and gear ratios. They can tune for aftermarket stuff too. It's a wise investment if you are a driving enthusiast.

Thanks for the tips! I'm looking forward to this mod

Money acquired, OT at the perfect time!... I have a thing that I wait a little before spending, just in case life throws me a curve (learned my lesson the hard way).

Can't wait!

We will be happy to help with the AutoCal. Nothing would be needed, you can start with the tune and go from there. We will update your tune for free as long as you own the vehicle, so if you do decide on other mods down the road you will be able to receive your tune updates via email. Once you receive your AutoCal we have instruction that will walk you through the process. When you email us the files we need to build the tune you will let us know, any tune changes you need, concerns with the vehicle, modifications and so on. Let us know if you have any questions.
