2003 Escalade, AWD.
When turning left, there is a rhythmic rub/bind noise . . . rub, rub, rub, rub, rub . . . . that goes away when not turning left.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.
have you jacked it up and looked under the truck? could be the wheel hub, could be other things could simply be the tire rubbing on the splash shield is it lifted/lowered? oversize wheels/tires? you can check for the wheel hub while the wheel is off the ground grab it and to wiggle it and see if it has any play at 12 & 6, a small amount of play is normal at 3 & 9 because of the steering, you can also spin the wheel and listen for any noises. inspect your front axle's, look for any broken or missing suspension parts.2003 Escalade, AWD.

a grinding and a rub rub sound are pretty distinct differences.
