Hey guys,

I bought an ‘07 Hoe a few months back and well... I love it. Planned to just keep it through the winter but plans have changed and I’m going to keep it long term.

The first owner had the car to 120k miles and took great care of her (Amsoil everything, great preventative care). The second owner who had it the last 25k miles, not so much.

The truck is now at 150k miles. The plugs and transmission fluid were changed at 120k but not much else has been done recently. I was planning on the following, please let me now if I’m missing anything:

Oil/filter change
Air filter
Front diff flush
Rear diff flush
Transfer case flush
Power steering fluid / turkey baster
Brake fluid flush

Anything else you guys would do??

Thanks,
Cyrus

Transmission pan and filter AGAIN. Dont go by heresay, unless you got a receipt or bought it from a good friend. I've been through dozens of used cars and trucks, and lied to, just as many times.

Do NOT use turkey baster on the PS fluid. It'll just make a huge mess. It's not a heavy enough fluid to stay in the baster when you pull it out.

Buy a 15 dollar fluid transfer pump. Just pump it dry, fill, drive a few days, do it all over again. I think I did it 3 times with the 1 gal PS fluid bottle from Oreilly.

I use a spray bottle from the dollar store to remove the fluids. I spray it back into the bottle. I have one for the ps.brake res. Etc.

You got it all covered. Going to run the same fluids as the original owner?
He forgot the blinker fluid .

check the wiper fluid as well

but I would check all the lights all the way around and look for burnt ones or discolored.

if it's discolored then it's going to pop soon..
