Replaced those crappy rear door Bose speakers today with some nice kenwoods.

Still no sound. What's next?

how do you know they were crappy if they weren't connected and working?

I didnt at first but there are a ton of threads saying they go out. Neither back door works.

Went ahead and tried. New pair but still no sound at all. All that works are the front doors and the tweeters

is this a ppv? is the radio stock? what year/make/model? bose premium? has any work been done that would have caused this problem? any other related issues?

Sorry not sure what PPV means. Stock Bose 6 disc. 2007 Tahoe. No mods done the system.

Radio and chimes such as seat belt dont work when cold but come on sd car warms.

Never sound out of back door speakers. Went out 6 months ago

I'd suspect the Amp to start. A quick check from the head Unit to see if it's putting out will tell you.

Ya sounds like the bose (amp or amp wiring) may have an issue some people with the earlier 07+ (nnbs) have reported issues with the amp, some have been able to just smack on the amp or wiggle the harness and make the problem go in/out verifying a amp or wiring issue, you can try that for beginners. the amp is under the center console. if you poke around on the site here or google you can find instructions on how to remove the center console and get access to the amp and wiring harness. if you have a tech2 or access to a tech2 you can do a test on the amp and speakers.
