@bigfootchiro , not very often. Being in the Navy I get to travel a bunch and will probably be down there maybe once a year however it'll be on a ship. Whenever I retire 15+ years from now, I'll be down there running a boat because the opportunities to catch such a variety of amazing fish are so prevelent! I could care less for a big house, long as I have a 25-30' cc with twins, I could care less what I lived in lol!

lol yeah, 29' Freeman with twin 300's(Dream) will do very well down that way, and probably way more than I will need due to the stream being so close. I won't have to make a 2 hour run out there like we have to do up in Myrtle Beach. Twin 300's is all you really need on a 29, once you start getting around 35+ thats where most people see the necessity to run 3+.

And if you're a year round fisherman in all seas, you won't need but half of that horsepower; go for range over power.

^Exactly, in reality, the only reason for you to run anything more than twin 250's is if you've got more money than you know what to do with and just want to burn extra fuel and get to the grounds a little bit faster, or you're tournament fishing and need to get to wherever you're fishing quickly. Efficiency is the way to go for a charter captain/fun fisher and that's all I'm gonna really be doing.

Home to Don Garlit's drag strip/test track. & F-1 Tunnel Boat races. & Pittsburgh Pirates Spring Training.

( the_tool_man, I'm friends with Doug Gray )
(fishing.... boooring )
( outboard motors -the more motors, the more holes in the water to dump money into)
( The NAVY - I've worked on Arneson Surface Drives for NAVY stealth/carbon fiber prototype boats)
