Nice work. I hope it holds up. I did all that to my 08 Silverado dash and a week after it cracked again right next to the repair area. Ugghhh. I ended up replacing it with the new and supposedly improved part.Well my dash finally cracked at the air bag. I decided to try and salvage it. During the process getting it out another crack occurred at the center speaker. I fixed all cracks with the hot staple gun and jb weld plastic bonder. The center clip to hold the front dash has always been missing so I took some 1/16 aluminum and made a new clip. Used the jb weld to secure it. The hot staple helped hold the cracks together. Then roughed up plastic with 80 grit paper. I did find more cracks under the dash once I took it off so I repaired those areas too. I’m very surprised how brittle the plastic is over the years. I will keep this one until it gets worse then replace it. Anyhow here’s some pics.
