The h2 are the cheapest route and they are a bit smaller so they install pretty easy. I would try there. If you mind the vibration you get with those then the poly ones are a definite no go. You will feel the exhaust through the truck with the afp poly ones. The preference is on how you drive the truck. If you want step on it and the motor not move at all that's where most of us end up going with the poly ones. You can always try a mixture of the driver h2 mount and a OEM passenger mount if you want little to no vibration and best durability.

This is what I am currently running.

I had replaced both engine mounts with the OEM style mounts before realizing the H3 were a viable option.

After a year or so the drivers side was torn again so I replaced it with the H3 mount but the passenger side was still good so I left it.

The drivers side takes most of the beating due to how the engine torques over toward the passenger side.

To be honest, I don't really notice any extra vibration from the solid rubber mount.

Thanks again for the additional clarification.

Just to be sure, my interpretation of the H3 mounts recommendation is that I purchase two PASSENGER SIDE H3 mounts, and then install one of them on the driver's side, and the other one on the passenger's side. Is this the correct interpretation ( implying that the H3 mounts are reversible on the two sides of the Yukon)?

Are these H3 mounts purchased from a specific supplier?

That is correct... passenger side H3 mount fits both sides of the Tahoe/Yukon.

As far as where to purchase... any place really... just make sure it is the passenger side mount for an 2008-2010 H3 with the 5.3L.... they called them the Alpha model.

The mounts for the inline 5 cylinder engine will not work.

Rock auto is a vendor here and they offer a discount code.... just FYI

Part number....

08-10 H3-Engine Motor Mount Torque Strut

GM 25847739

I have the atomic mounts. You will feel vibration after in the truck at idle. I have changed mounts more than I can remeber so it was a no brainers for me. I dont mind the vibration although I haven't experienced it with the ac running yet.

How bad of a vibration? I just got some solid atomic fab mounts and they say the vibration is pretty much the same between the two.

There will be vibration it will not mirror your OEM mounts. I have a intake and exhaust so it's hard to tell apples to apples with what your running. Most of the vibration is at idle between 500-700rpn. You can probably turn up your idle to reduce it some.

Yeah good luck. Broken motor mounts are common even after replaced. You can use the H3 mounts. Guys have had good success with those.
