I thought I would post these spark plug picks for fun. I bought a used 2013 GMC Yukon Denali Hybrid 6.0 with meticulous service records showing no plug change in the low 90K miles. The suggested spark plug change is 100K. I got around to it at 105K. This is what 105K vs New AC Delco Iridium plugs looks like. Also 1 plug is from a regular cylinder and 1 is from a Active fuel management (sometimes turned off) cylinder. Also being a Hybrid all Cylinders get turned off at times. The used plugs look to me about the same and had about the same gap both worn to about .07 over suggested .40. My gas mileage was around 18.5 and should be 20-22. I am now 3 tanks in at 21. Everything was running fine but I think in the future I will be changing plugs at about 60K. These were worn out and costing me gas mileage. Enjoy, comment if you want.IMG_2276.jpg IMG_2278.jpg

The 6.0 block used on the L76, LFA and LZ1 is the same and only cylinders 1, 4, 6 and 7 have the De-Ac lifters. The VLOM is the same for all AFM motors AFAIK.

The gap on that first old plug opened up quite a bit. What part number came out and what did you replace them with?

Welcome to the forum btw and what state do you call home?

The part # out and in are AC Delco 41-110 Professional Iridium Spark Plug. Got them for a steal from Amazon Prime free 2 days ship back in January. $25 for a set of 8 plugs. I thought that was great but I always check for Manufacturers Rebates. AC Delco had a $3 per plug rebate going on so after rebate I paid $1.00 for a set of 8 plugs. Thanks for the welcome, Home state - Texas

I have had it since November and it has never gone over the midway 210 on the gauge. I wonder if the Hybrid starting more often due to the auto shutoff in traffic could cause that.

i dont think so the water pump only runs with the motor

has the thermostat been replaced. might be stuck open since mine seems to retain the correct temperature .. even with extended period of autostop. .

should be a tad passed the 210F mark at all times when autostop.

have you checked with a code reader to see if it has a pending
P0128 code

I will have to give it a more critical look and see if it goes a tad past. Could I get that code read at an auto parts store with their reader. I do not have one?

snapped a photo in auto stop

edit it

auto stop worked when it was below the 210 spot... but as each day goes on we are still learning how it works
at which point it works etc...
