I got some ford keys for my truck, but I didn't realize that you're supposed to use stock ones instead of leveling keys. Will they still work? Anyone have a preference between ford keys vs leveling keys?

The stock Ford keys lift the GM, what- about 2"? So if you got Ford lifting keys, then they'll lift your GM the amount that stock Ford keys do plus whatever they should lift the Ford. I'd guess 3-4 inches of lift on your GM.

I actually have the Ford leveling keys for a 98-00 Expedition in my XL. Yes, they will work, but I have them pretty much de-cranked to the point where I could just roll without the bolts. I think from the actual point where the keys start to move when turning the bars in, I may have 1 1/2" turns on one, and 3 on the other. And I'm at just about 2 3/4" over stock, with fender heights at 39 1/4" (with 275/65/20 Falken Wildpeaks, 34").
