My new ride is at the dealership, waiting for a few added details, took almost 3 months for my special order to be placed, built and shipped, looks to me the wait was well worth it....hopefully get her later this week....

Great looking truck. Why did you have to order it? What’s being added at the dealer? Just wondering

Well, thanks guys for all the very nice comments..... it is a basically loaded Premier edition, except for the sunroof and dvd stuff, first off it is just Cathy and I, and she says I watch too much tv anyway... (LOL) and I have a sun roof in my current TrailBlazer and didn't really like it....I can go ******* in my Corvette. So it is Siren red, which I had to order as there is NOT a red one in western Canada anywhere, yes black leather, 20 inch wheels, ( heard too much about the 22's here ) Max trailer package, 5.3 , gas is over 6 bucks a gallon ( U.S. Gallon , $1.53/L for regular) so didn't need the 6.2 and premium fuel. I had to order it due to those requests, color, no infotainment pack etc, as it seem they always add that stuff on 'stock' dealer lots.... I went for the the GM stuff, and I know you guys are gonna say I should go after market, but I wanted to make damn sure if something went wrong, I could go back on them, so I am getting the Borla exhaust, the cold air, and they are putting some flaps on it so I don't splash up too many rocks and crap over winter, also didn't want it in the crappy weather, figuring some dolt may pile into it in winter, wanted one nice summer without worry.................as this is a fairly expensive purchase, I'm thinking it may be the last BIG one I do.... so I wanted exactly what I wanted, and thanks to you guys, and opinions on other threads, here I think I made the right choices for 'me'.....some of the guys here said the red would look like a fire truck.... well if it does I hope it is the SUPERVISOR'S truck LOL!!!!

I always thought of the red as Santa’s sleigh.

Good luck with her.
My suburban that I ordered in nov18 got here a week ago.

Well, I'm as big as Santa LOL!!! maybe Santa's fire truck?? Well, it seems I am, or my truck is a fairly rare beast, so if and when you guys see this rig on the road, give me a wave, you'll know who it is !
