I just picked up some super nice Grey NBS seat at work for $50. Anyone have move info on how to mount NBS seats in a gmt400 as far as how the brackets look and wiring for it to work. .... I have just heard a bunch of people saying they've done it but no one really says how, or can point out where some one did a write up

Do they both have power seats? Does the obs have an airbag? Start with simple measurements of the mounting holes if they’re the same have at it and see if the connector match if not you may need to take the seat base off your seats and mount them to the new seats even if you need to drill a new hole that’s the easiest way to get them to fit remember to use your mounting bolts. No need to mess with seat belts but check the wires on it.

Yes OBS has airbag but not in seats. Both are powered. I am hoping that I can get away with just drilling and tapping for the NBS seats if needed. Can't believe there isn't a write up for this.

best way is to just take current seats out and start troubleshooting and seeing where it leads you  Probably is not going to be rocket science but probably won't just bolt up either.

Well I tried this weekend and the NBS seats wont fit. The ones I had were out of a 03' yukon Denali. The tracks are spaced too wide (about 4 inches wider). There is not enough space between the trans hump and the door.

If I was able to find some NBS Power seats with the integrated seatbelts locally I'd work on making them work

Yeah, will definitely take some ingenuity and fabrication. Definitely doesn't surprise me that they don't just drop in and ready to rock.

Modify the nbs mounting brackets. You can see what needs to be done, make it happen
