is it possible to switch a 2wd suspension in a 4wd. i looked up both trucks all the components are the same other then the torsion keys, rear springs and shocks everything else is the same. why i ask this, this would give me a factory drop with oem parts, possibly 1-2 inches. has anyone done this before and would it cause any problems with the 4wd after installation.

The shock mount is farther back on the torsion bar setup and lacks a spring pocket. You could get some shock brackets fab’d up that relocated to the 2wd position, run coil overs and 2wd lower control arms but the cv axles would still be in the way.
