I been in this forum not long enough fairly new .I do have to mention a few things to new members here and old ones. I been part of other forum like Mercedes and there no comparison too the quality of people . That one does not know here and meet here. The willingness and time they take to help you over and over and over even to forum directors here until you understand. From the last forum I was in no one ever gave time and if they could all they did was just brag about what they drive no one is sincere or just honest about themselves . Here i found its different there is no need show off people take time to help you out. It not about the brand the drive it about helping and understanding other problem here that the feeling I got from the forum directors here. All I wanted to say if you new here you will feel right at home and if you an old member you guys an excellent job helping others. I bet one thing here there are probably more successful career people or ceo in this forum. I met the snobbiest and most dreadful people at the forum and the dealership which people one can ever meet. And worst part most people I met at the dealer seemed so snobby and drove very expensive car but when it came to paying to Maintence they complained yelled and couldn’t afford it at the Mercedes dealer . Most not all were all show And broke at the end of the day. It’s just weird how people of a particular brand are different from people who drive another brand.

Good perspective, Jorge.

I'm relatively new, being a member for about 6 months, and I am extremely happy with the folks who participate in this forum. I've posted a number of questions that were answered here, complete with options and points to be watchful for, in a very short amount of time. Conversely, when a question is asked here that I am able to offer some perspective or a recommendation, I take it seriously, and I give my input quickly.

There is a lot of honest and helpful two-way communication here, and that is what makes it a great forum, IMO.

Your words are kind and well meant. I would point out however that its not just in a Mercedes Dealership that snobbery exists. Also people do not need much to cry and complain about not affording service. I would wager that some of those people go there because they were tighter than two coats of paint when it comes to money and they have been taught that yelling and screaming gets them somewhere. They started off young by screaming and yelling in Walmart and their parents had to shut them up. Stop in at the local Ford dealer and see the flood on the floor from all the tears that owners shed when told how much it going to cost them to fix their ecoboost wonder and warranty does not cover them. Dodge is the same only worse as their parent company does not care about service. Some dealers of course are an exception.

I agree Jorge. I didn’t know much about these trucks. Last one I had was an 07 I sold in early 09. All I knew is that the Traverses I kept leasing weren’t the ideal tow vehicles for my toys.
So bought one in July and have learned a lot from many of you here. Thank you all for your help and suggestions.
