Try an F-body one time. That’s fun. About as much fun as it was to replace the Y-bridge on my Duramax.

Lol yeah no thanks there's a reason I never put headers on the ws6 I owned lol

I thought the Y-pipe was the issue, not the headers.

Like Tony said it's both. The y pipe on mine really didn't want to go on.

Recently I upgraded to their true dual x pipe header back kit and it fit a lot better

Yeah, the fitting had to be cut, turned around--according to the shop--and rewelded to mate up to my stock exhaust. Supposed to bolt right up.

I think a little of both. Y pipe and 1 or 2 tubes on the driver side hit also.

Oh, so now you tell me this!! Haha. I really think if you had a rolling offset with a 90 into a 45 like the pic I showed you, you’d be able to get your prop shaft back in. You act like it’s cold out or something, go get that thing fixed.

Well now I’m gonna have to go dig up your build. I’ve read mixed results with some saying it fit and other saying it needed to be modified.

You won't find one as I never made one. I read that too when I bought mine. Like we said before it's mainly the y pipe that comes with the headers. Imo I think you'd be better off butting the dual x pipe header back exhaust on. It definitely sounds a lot better than the y pipe. No rasp and I have no cats on mine as well

would seem easy enough to take a few inches off of the collectors, the ypipe would still slip over
i shortened mine up and put vbands on it so i wouldnt have to drop the crossmember to remove it

also, i have a brand new set of these headers if anyone, preferably in south florida, wants some cheap, no ypipe (can be bought separately). they warrantied a few problems with mine, i repaired my existing headers but i used most of the ypipe to patch it back to exhaust. sounds like you might be better off having muffler shop fab up tho anyway

I talked with a rep from SE and he said motor mounts would be the only thing to cause fitment issues. He said they haven't heard from anyone w issues before lol. I'm sure someone has reached out to them previously

Yes, I have. They told me the same exact thing. Must be motor mounts, and they've never heard of anyone EVER having any kind of issue before. Now--don't you feel special!!??! At the time my motor swap was just done and there was nothing wrong with the motor mounts. I talked to some Asian guy--you too?
