Got this email from Paul @ Gruven....

Ken I know its been a while on these heater core quick disconnects.

We are up to 7 orders now so we are very close. Ive got it in the que at our CNC center so hopefully it wont be long now. If we can get a few more pre-orders then I can definitely push this up the chain and get it in work.

We are also going to make the pickup truck version of this as well, which is not a tee but a straight coupler. The tees are used on the SUV for rear heat where as the pickup trucks don’t need that so it’s a straight thru coupler but same idea.

If you know anyone with a pickup truck who is looking for a metal replacement for this please direct them to

These are the 7th and 8th items down that page currently.

FYI there are a number of threads now started on various forums regarding these quick disconnects. It seems to be a hot topic but many are content with just swapping plastic out over and over.

Here is a brief list of threads I know of that are discussing these, any help you can offer by chiming in on the importance of a metal version is appreciated and will help push this project along :

Yes there are two required. From the factory these parts have two different part numbers. One is black, the other is white, BUT they are interchangeable.

The new ones would all be the same.
