Alright. I give up.

How the hell do you operate the auto dimming headlights on these vehicles?

What year? My 16, requires me to toggle the switch from hi/low and back and it’s active. Then I see a green A in the dash.

‘16.

So when in high, quickly switch to low and back to high?

Then just leave it in high?

Leave in low. Then you can flip to high if needed to get someone’s attention

Yeah. Trick is that I don’t think you can activate if the fogs/driving lights are on
True, unless you have your fog circuit modded. I have a jumper feeding the fog circuit from another source which is hot while the ignition is on. Don’t mind since dogs are LED. Headlights still auto dim as well.

Yes, please tell us how you jumped the fog lights to be "on" anytime you want them on.

How did you do this?

Found a terminal under the hood that has 12 volts with ignition on. Joined two of these devices together with ONE fuse in each end. Insert the SAME way as mine and your fogs will always be in while the engine is running. Auto dim still works.
