I only have 1 Key FOB for my 2015 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. I need to add a 2nd FOB. Is this something I can buy online and program myself?

What about the actual key inside the FOB? How would that piece work?

Unless you have a Tech2 or other higher end programmer you’ll need the dealer or someone with one to program it. The key is another story and most likely the dealer. It’s going to cost more but you don’t want to buy this again. Go to the dealer.

The Tech2 does not work on the newer K2s, there system is the MDI or MDI2 and the GDS2 software. Anyhow, if the Tahoe has Keyless Access, the instructions are in the owner's manual, you can add new fobs, up to eight.

I stand corrected. I’d check what you’re buying to see if there’s room for the physical key in it. I’d still guess the dealer for a key

Yeah, at the least he can get another key for the fob from the dealer and have them cut it but locksmiths should have them too.

It has keyless entry and push button start. Evo, the owner's manual should have the info to program a remote that will unlock and start the car?
