So I started looking into leveling my 03 Yukon, not lifting the rear at all. I took some measurements as it sits now (ground to top of wheel well), and they're all over the place.

Front driver - 35 1/8"
Front passenger - 36 1/8" (1" higher)
Rear driver - 36 7/8"
Rear passenger - 37 3/8" (1/2" higher)

I can't believe I never noticed how the front leans 1" to the driver side, but now that's all I can see. Looking at my torsion bar key adjustment bolts, I've got about 1/2" to 3/4" left on both sides. Also, looking at posts about the front bump stops/jouncers, it's normal to have them touch the control arm. But mine seems excessive, like the front is riding excessively low, especially the driver side.

Passenger side:

Driver side:

I checked the "z height" measurements, and it appears this is the case, as I'm around 1" below the 4.7" recommended height.

So I guess my questions are:

1- Should I be able to get everything leveled out with my stock keys, or should I buy new ones?

2- In either case, should I upgrade my shocks to compensate for the front ride height difference (Bilstein 5100, etc.)?

3- If I do need the upgraded shocks, do I need to get new rear shocks to match the front?

4- Would the 1" front height differences explain the 1/2" difference in the rear height, or do I have something else going on?

5- I probably will replace the stock jouncers, as the drivers side looks pretty worn out. I think the part number is 15153958. Can anyone confirm? I've also read something about Z71 jouncers as a better replacement. Anyone have any info on this?

Lots of question, I know. But I'm pretty new to suspension upgrades. Thanks for any help.

EDIT: After a lot more research, I don't think I'll be replacing my rear shocks as I have the Nivomat rears, and don't want to drop $600 on new Nivomats or a coil conversion.

Did anyone reply to this post? I have the same concern about leveling the front while maintaining "Z" height.

There are no other posts, nobody replied to THIS thread. You should start by searching, and if you can't find it, then make a new thread, about YOUR questions.

Your heights should be different, your bumpstops are going to be different, we don't know which suspension either one of you have. The OP talks about "not lifting the rear at all", when the rear is higher and would need to be lowered, or front lifted...… Just make a new thread, and go into as much detail as you can to help those who try to help you.
