I mentioned the new/brighter (LED) bulbs were for a new pair of turn signal lenses. Well, this morning I bought a pair of TYC 'stock style' lenses for, get this.... $6.50 each !!

Rock auto. Including shipping, a whopping $20 bucks total cost.

I'd say that's a good price!!
Heck yea, share a link with the rest of the class!!!

Yup, however, you can find an amber 4114 if that is a look you're going for. I swapped my tahoe's DRL with amber 4114 and thought they looks great.

I'm running LEDs in my yukon
amber does look good as another option

As far as I'm concerned all incandescent bulbs melt the DRL sockets in these years. Have you noticed how many on the road, are one-eyed? I use the Sylvania Zevo bulbs, and am quite happy with them.

I went to O'Reilly auto. Bought a pair of Sylvania 'Zevo' 6000k LEDs. Part # 4114 ( also fits #3057 & #3157. ( can't find receipt, but I think around $24.00 / 2 in the package)...

They look & work great !!

I'm happy you mentioned this. I've only had my Tahoe for a month, but before, and for years, I would ALWAYS see Suburbans and Tahoes with one running light out. At first I thought it was possibly a voltage issue that spiked and burned them. Then I thought because they are always on, one burns and the owner just ignores it. It literally became a pet peeve always seeing one out. Not good promotion for a brand when one sees all these trucks driving around with one bulb out.

Anywho, my sockets are crispy critters and my new ones arrive today. thank you!

Same base style and fits in the same bulb holder , but not a replacement.
