2018 Performance Tuning

I just picked up my 2018 Z71, and am looking for advise to get the maximum out of it. I have already installed an K+N cold air intake...which yielded some marked improvement in the performance in the lower band. Next...what about a cat back system? what about the AFM that everyone gripes about? Not looking to make this a crazy build, just looking to maximize what I got. Also...not looking to blow the neighbors away with the noise. Just something efficient and effective. thanks...

A tune is always a great place to start. Our AutoCal tuning will be on sale, for one day only, Friday the 23rd.

AFM is typically a fuel saver on the 2014+ models, so we would only suggest disabling it if you have heavy wheels/tires or can't tolerate the sound with your exhaust.

I gotta tell you, I see lots of folks complaining about AFM, and I would just as soon utilize all 8 on mine. Tell me about the autocal, and if there is any one out there to chime in please do..

You need to put that same deal up for cyber Monday cause I was unavail Friday. I'm ready to buy! My Volant CAI just arrived and I need a tune to go with it.

If you have an auto cal already, the tune price did not change. I was waiting for it and was a tad disappointed. The wife only gives a green light to “deals”. Since it was the same price as before, I have to wait.

We can disable the AFM, also do you have a 6 speed or 8 speed?

Using the AutoCal, all tuning would be completed by email. You would collect data from the vehicle while driving around and would provide that along with your OEM tune files and a list of modifications and desired tune changes. We would then create your modified, custom tune files and would send them back to you, by email, to be installed. The hardware is yours to keep and you would be able to use it to return the vehicle to stock as needed as well as receive and install tune updates when needed. Details and ordering can be found at

I wish we could, that is really the only time we put the AutoCals on sale, is just for Black Friday. If you have any other questions, let me know.
