Would really like one of these. Anyone have an OEM part number? Also, would this be a direct drop in replacement for the cassette tape holder that is currently in this spot? Thank you.

Yes, it’s a direct drop-in for the CD storage thing. GM part number 12388413. They’re discontinued, but show up on eBay a good bit.

Look for one with the clips intact. They usually break, sending the bottom half of the cup holder down into the console along with whatever drink you just put in there. They can be epoxied together easily enough and be just fine, just don’t pay a premium for one that’s already busted.

It’s the ‘U’ shaped portion that breaks. This one is intact...

There are a couple on EBAY right now for 35 to 40 bucks.
Both appear to have some broken tabs and no rubber inserts
item numbers
302942969920 and
253983133756

You can also buy the rubber inserts on ebay for $10. They are a bit thinner than OEM but they do work.
eBay item number:
382630165208

I have one holder with broken back tab and no inserts you could have for $20 plus the ride from NH if you don't go the Ebay route above or a mint one for $50 +shipping.
Thanks

I might take you up on that mint condition one. Can you send me pictures please?
