Good Evening,

I happened across a well-equipped LT Signature that has only "On-Star Navigation." It has the sunroof and no rear-entertainment. I actually prefer not having the rear-entertainment.

Would you buy a Tahoe with only the On-Star Nav? And can you have it programmed for the full navigation if one so desired?

Thanks.

What year is it? Does it have Apple car play or Android Auto? I never use the GM navigation, I always use Waze through my phone connected through Apple car play into the GM screen.

It is a brand new '19.

I believe it does have Apple car play.

Since it has Apple car play, I wouldn't worry about not having the GM navigation. You have to connect your phone with a USB cable, but i would test it prior to purchase. You can use Waze, Google Maps, or Apple Maps, all of which are better than the GM navigation, in my option. Just bring a phone charing cable to your test drive and double check that it works.

I’ve never used my onstar or gm nav. Always used CarPlay.
