Hello forum friends! I am having some trouble with my Tahoe, 5.7L Tahoe, higher mileage for sure around 190,000k but it runs strong, but upon trying to have it start is not very good, I have to turn it over a good 15 times to get it to start, my first thought was fuel pump, but i hear it engage, as soon as i get it to start it runs rough for about two minutes and then back to running perfectly, oil pressure runs real nice the entire time. I have no clue what this could be and any help would greatly be appreciated, its worth noting i have replaced all plugs and wires as well. Also if this is posted in the wrong place sorry in advance,

Fuel pressure is my first guess. Can you test it? Most likely the regulator but could be the pump. At 190k it makes sense.

When you did the wires and plugs did you check cap and rotor inside or replace both?

All still points to fuel. Can you check your fuel pressure? The tools are cheap or borrow from parts store. The first thing I’d do is change the filter. When the truck is cold the gunk settles to the bottom but after running it’s all stirred up. Try filter then pressure check for regulator or pump.
