I have a 98 Yukon 4 door. I'm wanting to lift it with the 6" RC. I'll be running 35" M/T tires. I've heard several people say that these year vehicles are very bad about front end problems once they have been lifted. I've heard I should go to solid front axle, I'll be replacing ball joints every few months, I'll have to upgrade the front axles, I'll have to get an extended drive shaft and the list goes on and on! I've had several lifted 70s and 80s gm trucks and a few Jeep's but never a gm full-size SUV. Is this project going to be a pain in the a$$ or what?

I am not a huge fan of their kit for the 88-98 trucks but the only modification required is to the y-pipe due to front driveshaft clearance issues. A truck with healthy CV shafts, control arm bushings and ball joints will NOT chew through any of those parts monthly or yearly. From what I recall with prior experience, it is technically a 4.5" front lift and the torsion keys get indexed 1.5" for a 6" total lift.
