I'm not sure what you mean by bicycle innertube trick but did you try wrapping a ratchet-strap around the circumference of the tire right in the middle of the tread? Works every time for me... especially with heavy-duty tire on construction equipment (may have to sub a chain & binder for the ratchet-strap on those).
with those generals the side wall would not spread for shit even with heavy duty strap,so what i did went to wal-mart picked up 12.5r bike inner tube stretched it around inner bead of rim aired it up a little bit to fill in gap from tire and bead, shit load of soapy water then began filling tire as tire expands if you keep spring soapy water on bead where inner tube is the tire bead will set and push the inner tube off at same time

Yeah nice start. That was where the factory dual battery setup went on the heavier pickups.
I had the same problem with the washer fluid. Before you buy any parts, you should be able to see the two hose connections from looking up from underneath. If you fill up the container with water, you should be able to see if its leaking out of one the hose connections and just run a new piece of tubing quickly for a buck or two. The one I had to replace ran up to a plastic double male ended connector along the top side of the fender.

Are you willing to share your future plans, or keeping this a surprise?

future surprise... i'm going to keep going fixing everything i can on this beast and try to upgrade failure parts ....i do have a question about the half shafts on this i work for the military and drive a H1 for my service truck and i work in a motor pool to maintain army equipment via light and heavy wheel..would H1 half shafts work they are thicker and heavier duty then ours well hell Ill be servicing one tomorrow guess ill be doing so measuring and checking splines lol....my other project is going to be started very soon it is a 1996 split year so was equipped with obd2 2wd junk 5.0l in it i traded a welder for the truck i like the square ex body style. I bought a 02 Gmc with brand new 5.3l crate motor, brand new trans, rear end that was loaded with Yukon air locker, and i believe 4:56's its also 2wd well needless to say the guy that owned it went to start it after motor install and had a electrical under dash so...3 months later he passed away i purchased it from his widow for $500 i sold a lot of parts body parts off of it i.e. bed, doors, most of interior, hood and donated the money off of parts to his widow all i wanted was rolling chassis with computer and motor trans i'm going to put my 96 c1500 body and bed on the 02 chassis and fully cage it ,ford f100 or 150 i-beam suspension style front end that i will build myself ...that will be my toy for me and my kids to enjoy out in the dunes or around our area... ****** main purpose is DD/tow and mild trail and play in mud during monsoon.... i was wonder when prerunner build starts if you guys wouldn't mind me posting on this thread i know its Tahoe Yukon forum? OK apologies for not posting in few days i broke a damn tooth, so Ive been hurting dentist 2morrow but he is a pic of my fleabay catch can ,since the fleabay catch can has 2 inlets which just end right inside i used to own a company in phx building beer systems for various bars,Glendale arena , spring training camps for MLB ,i had a SS tap tube that goes inside of a beer tower that had a perfect bend in it,so i slide it threw one of the fittings then flared it so should work just fine on inlet side that away oil/vapors go to the bottom of tank then also filled tank with the tweeker pipe packing SS sos big wire pads things so it keep oil down ... here is catch can ill take more pics tonight of inside, and the way i mode it....

I’ve seen the inner tube trick when mounting stretched tires. Good work so far, don’t stop. I’m already hooked.
