2wd acceleration is smooth. Put it into Auto or 4wd and acceleration is rough. Feels like something is not balanced right. I did replace both u joints for the front driveshaft a year ago. Also replaced both front cv shafts 6 months ago. Any pointers? Was thinking I might need to rotate the front driveshaft 180 or replace transmission mount. The cv shafts don't seem likely as a cause because they rotate all the time. If they were out of balance I would know in 2wd as well.

It's a frequency type vibration. Not sure if it's speed sensitive. I cant hear it but feel it in seat mainly. Not in steering wheel. Feels like difference between riding on dirt road vs highway.

Did you replace the above items chasing the vibration or did it start after any of those replacements?
I'm not sure why I'm asking, but maybe I'm hoping to point to something that is not the transfer case.

I've always felt it. But seemed to get worse after replacing that stuff.
