I've tried a different brand and the problem was the soap was in a container by itself and it mixed with the water as it came through the hose, and when you were going to the rinse mode there was a dial to switch over to rinse water but the soap still came through a bit so it left soap spots and you never really got a good rinse. With the Slick one you add 4 oz of soap to the container, then fill it the rest of the way with water. When you're ready to rinse, the soap container and cannon disconnect with a quick fitting and you have a great rinse with a lot of clean water. I just washed my Silvy in less that 10 minutes and that included filling the soap container up. Just set the foam dial from 1-5 with 1 being the soapiest and shoot as much as you want to wash at a time, pop the quick disconnect so you're ready to rinse, then wash away and follow with the rinse. Easy as it gets. No need to drag out a pressure washer with the extension cord and hose attached to it. You just need the hose.
