Hey Guys,

First off, I have an 07 z71 4x4 with a 2" rough control front level .

I'm looking into getting Fuel Triton wheels. Thinking about doing an 18" wheel, and hope to run a 33x12.5 tire. Will this work?

They are available in the following configurations:

18x9 in -12mm, +1mm, or +20mm offset

20x9 in +1mm, or +20mm offset

20×10 in -18mm offset

What do you guys think?

Go on line to the tire size calculator to see what fits. I’d think 33 are fine. Wheel size depends on taste and what type of ride you like post pics when done.

How much of an off-road capability do you want to retain? The smaller diameter wheel will maintain the designed off-road capability and ride.

Your gonna have to trim the inner plastic on the bumper to keep from rubbing. I’m running like a 32 on stock z71 wheels and rub the inner plastic pretty bad.

33's will work ok. I have 285/70R17's which is basically a 33 and have no rubbing issues on my Hoe. I'm on stock wheels though. I think your main concern is what I am trying to figure out and that is wheel offset. The more negative offset the more the tires will be pushed out and also cause the tire to hit in areas when turning the wheel. So some cutting/trimming is going to be needed.

Cold place in the north
I have 275/60/20 duratracs and theyre just above 33 cause of the tread. They fit great and only had to pull back a couple places in the well to keep from full turn rubbing. I think mine are a +30 offset, the sidewall tread is the only part thats past the fender.

You planning to run x12's and 33's on a 2" level? I had that on a 3.5" RCX and had to cut like hell to get full crank, norcal and everything. Looks good but just beware that's an insane amount of cutting you'll be getting into.
