Fuel line replacement

2002 Tahoe flex fuel, redoing all the brake lines, and the fuel lines need to be done as well. Anybody have some info on it? So far the only info I've found is, remove front propeller shaft for better access, and there's a bracket mounted on the transmission tunnel. Kicking myself in the ass for not doing them when I had the trans out 3 years ago.

I need to replace mine too. I will next summer so take some pics and post up a "how to" and "what not to do" so I don't screw it up when I do it. My 3" body lift will make it a lot easier now. I can't imagine doing it with out the room I gained with the body lift.

It was a while ago that I did mine, I used the kit manufactured by Fineline that comes in sections that join together rather than the OEM tubing that comes as one long piece of tube. That was a huge advantage in placing the new piping back in. A piece of advice I will offer is to cut the old tubes at roughly the same place as the new one so that you will be able to visualize the way to move and position it as it comes out of the car - I cut mine in sections at locations for fast removal, but was left to figure out from scratch the way to get the new line sections back in.

The plastic brackets that hold the fuel lines in place are a little tricky to release, they don't pry open, but there is a small tab that unlocks it at one end (difficult to explain) but once you get one open and look at it you will figure out the rest of them.
