So craziest thing happened to me today. I swear only in California.....
So I was on my way to the restaurant I’m catering an event for tonight. One lane closed down on the boulevard for construction. Some jerk wadd in a Nissan rouge decided to cut me off at the very last second and pull into my lane. Thank god for my performance brakes!!! Or I would have creamed his. Car. He decided to stop in front of me and block me in. He then proceeded to shatter my drivers side window bare handed and punch me in the face.... twice yeah. Fun day....
here’s my question, I’m heading to the junkyard tomorrow, gonna hunt for a drivers side glass. How hard is it to pull apart? Also, will a glass from a standard wheel base truck truck work? Or are the long wheel base trucks drivers window glass different?

front should be the same size, rear doors are different on the swb, just pull your door panel off and put the window down about 1/2 way and you should see where you can access the bolts that hold the glass on the regulator, there should be just two bolts not sure of the size, if you do that ahead of time then you will know what you need to carry out to the yard tool wise.

Chase, dude--WTH MAN!! I hope this moron got arrested! You need to carry something to protect yourself with. Just saying. I've seen enough stories just like yours that end pretty bad. I hope you're ok.

I’m fine. Small bit of fat lip but no biggie. I’m gonna get my concealed carry license and I get approved for a regular license. I’m done with that nonsense. He hit and ran so unfortunately I haven’t heard if they caught him.

Sweet! That’s what I was thinking but wasn’t sure.

The mere presence of staring down the barrel of a 1911 might have prevented that unfortunate outcome Chase. But giving the guy a case of lead poisoning is frowned upon by the Communists who run your state. They only want the government to do that so become totally informed on what you can and cannot do.

Glad you are alright, now get a dash cam after that glass is replaced.
