What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I guess a really simple way would be to run a new set of wires with a relay. Tie the relay to the 12V(on the DRL)

12V to the Switch pole on the relay
12V constant on one pole
Bulb +Red line to the other pole (two lines one for each bulb)
Bulb -Ground to a suitable ground (at each bulb)

Only down side is you can't shut this off(unless you run a line to a switch in the cab.)

There is Probably and easier way...
ya sounds about right, I had a second set of fogs on my nbs hooked up that way with a switch hidden under the dash that were set to be on whenever the key was in the run position but could be turned off also, wouldn't be hard to do I would probably just hook them up that way and disconnect the factory harness, I will have to get under there and see what connectors I need I may already have everything in my tool box.

Yes i did it. You need the diode because it allows current flow one way. Other wise it allow current to flow both ways making the what ever circuit on all times. I tapped into a parking light with a diode so it will feed the drl with lights on

mine might be different because the Yukon uses the low beam as a DRL it doesn't have a dedicated light like the tahoe's

I took the front bumper cover off. Unbolted the tow hooks. I cut some 1/4 inch plate out welded it to the frame came out the tow hook holes. When I get done with the mounts I will put some pics up. The push bar is a little to wide from front to back so I will cut some out and weld in a new cross over bar. When I'm done I will weld in some new tow hooks. Will put pics up as I go.

I would go with some higher grade hooks the factory hooks are actually pretty weak they bend easily

Nothing really. Seems to run better since the new wires and plugs although I haven't noticed a change in the mileage, probably since I can't keep my foot out of it. Acceleration has improved or at least it seems that way.

I had the auto-ride compressor replaced on my 2011 Tahoe LTZ. The part was replaced under my extended warranty (Major Guard) after it failed around 105k miles. Apparently it would hold the air, but wasn't sending to where it needed to go. The ride is much better now.
