My stock pads/rotors on the front were replaced awhile ago with r1 concepts rotors (stock ones were warped) and Hawk pads. The Hawk pads put off a TON of dust and just didn't brake well until you warmed them up quite a bit, so I swapped them out for EBC Greenstuff pads at the recommendation of just about everyone on this forum. They stop well, but put off a TON of dust.

I'm tired of the dust, so what will brake the same as stock/EBC and not give me a shit ton of dust after 1 week? Considering going back with ACDelco.

My AC Delcos on the rear don't dust at all, but wasn't sure if the fronts would be the same story. Thanks for the input everyone!

I'm a fan of Wagner Thermoquiet Ceramic pads. I've had them on my Burban since around 2009. They stop good and put off VERY little dust. I just recently upgraded to the larger 07+ front brakes, and I went with the Wagner Thermoquiet pads again. They stop even better, but I do notice that these put off slightly more dust than my last set. Not a LOT, but I did notice that it's a bit more. It may or may not be because I now have larger rotors and pads, who knows.

This! I know the the gmt800 to gmt900 brake conversion is really popular, so they can't be bad. Never had a problem with my stock brakes - just wished they looked a little better...

The pads are coated and the coating wears off after the first few hundred miles during the bedding process. Did you notice the dust decrease after bedding?
