05 yukon air ride level question (again)

Newbe here. Been searching and found alot of info, but have a few questions hopefully someone can answer.
05Yukon, air leveling suspension. I have 142K, so looking at rebuilding front /rear control arms & rod ends with a kit from ROCKAUTO. I have been reading the Bilstiens (5100 or 5400? ) are a good upgrade to get rid of the air shocks. I have also read about a resistor or pulling the fuse to get rid of the light on the dash.
I like a little stiffer suspension so I think these would be good shocks (or sugestions). Not worried about towing ride height (added aft air bags). Would my original rear springs be fine doing this shock conversion? Anything else I may need to address that I'm missing?

I have an 05 yukon and i replaced the autoride with billstein 5100`s and kept the stock springs without a problem. The rear end will drop about an inch and that`s all you`ll notice about doing the swap. There are resistors that you can wire into the OE shock wires to shut the light off or pull a fuse for the autoride to do the same thing.

Thanks, did you notice a stiffer ride or about the same?

It was slightly stiffer but it does handle better too.

My bags were busted when i bought my truck, it rode and towed great without the leveling system working.
