All of you guys have 2013s and Powertrain Grade Braking should work in and out of tow/haul mode. Same with Cruise Grade Braking. Y'all also have Hill Start Assist too.

Yeah I have a habit of reading the manual front to back when I buy a vehicle. Never know what goodies you might miss out on.

My dad bought a used 2010 Mercedes S550 from an old lady client/friend that died last year, it has 26,000 miles on it and is showroom new condition. He is an owners manual non reader, and that car requires you to read it 8 times just to understand all the crazy amount of options and functions that it has. He calls all the time asking me questions......but it’s my dad so........

Sounds like my wife, daughters, mother, sister, aunt... LOL They won't read to save their lives!

Plus as an “ex” ASE master tech, none of my family ever goes to the stealerships to get their cars fixed....I do most of it, or at least troubleshoot it.

I have to read it over and over and with my memory lately I might just discover something brand new!

same here, but not just memory. A few years ago I got my first "smart phone", took me half a day to figure out how to make a call. Also, bought a "smart TV" in January, didn't have a TV for a decade, took me two days to figure out how to change the volume.

Sure, could have read the manual, however nowadays those seems to have these pictograms and are not really helpful. Besides, not reading manuals is a social thing, else this forum would be quiet if everyone would read owners and shop manuals.
