Left will go up and down, but up only so much before it stops.
Right mirror will not go left and right. Only up and down.

I didn't notice this before my wife took the car to a spray wash and gave it a good washing. Anything in particular I should look at?

Check to see if the mirrors are still fully seated. They pop into a small grommet behind the mirror. Those car washes can easily knock them loose. Just push slowly with increasing pressure until it pops. Hold the back of the mirror housing. Tell wife to pull mirrors in next time. I did the same thing. Easy fix.

It should work. Feels strange pushing on glass at first.

If that doesn’t do it remove the cover behind the mirror and you’ll see the 4 spots the mirror attaches to and where they need to be popped back in.

Right, just remove the top back portion of the mirror. It has little indentations about every couple of inches. Once it’s off you’ll see the part of the bracket holding the mirror that’s popped out.
