I have a 2003 GMC Yukon I just purchased a power heated mirror. I was just wondering if there are any easy installation videos because I tried to install yesterday and I realized that the door panel has to come off also I’m really not sure if my truck has heated mirrors or not and will the Mira that I Purchased still be able to use it If I Purchased one with heat thank you for all your help

Mirror glass? Or the whole assembly?

If it's the mirror class, aim the mirror all the way in, get in the plastic bits with a pick and gently pry the clips out while pulling on the glass. Disconnect the heater and turn signal wires. Then you get to separate the glass from the plastic backing. Either break the glass and pull it off in pieces of fanangle under it with a paint scraper. It's adhesive backed and strong stuff. Install is reverse of removal

If it's the whole assembly, pop the door panel off as well as the cover directly inside the door across from the mirror. Cover pulls off. Roll down window. Lift up on the window controls - friction clips. Pull / pry out the trim around the lock/unlock. It's a push forward while prying out type movement. Trim around the door handle pops off - just get in there and pull it at yourself. Pry out the lighting, disconnect wires.

Still with me? Good. Hard part's over. There's a 7mm screw behind where the window controls are, and another one behind the handle. I think there's another in the bottom front corner but I can't remember. Just go around and look at it - the rest will be fairly obvious. Once all the screws out out, lift UP on the door panel, then pull it out. Disconnect any other wires if/as needed and get to work.

Mirror replacement is straight forward - theres a wire that snakes down the door and plugs into the harness. unplug / undo the clips, then 3 bolts to remove the side mirror. Snake out the cable then do this in reverse, being mindful of the plastic weather shield
